Day 1

Jakarta.

Arrive in airport with flight … (please let us know your flight number ). We will pick you up from the airport and then transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Santika Premiere in Jakarta (type: deluxe)

Day 2

Jakarta – Bandung. City tour in Jakarta. In the morning start city tour to visit the National Museum with its fine collections of ceramics, statues, gold etc. Then proceed to Fatahillah Museum. Built in 1710, this was Jakarta’s original City Hall. Hereafter travel to ‘Sunda Kelapa’ Harbour to see the colorful Phinisi sailing ships and the national monument of Indonesia, Monas. After this you will go to Miniature Park Indonesia and from this theme park you depart for Bandung. If there is time you can do the colonial architectural city tour in Bandung before check in to your hotel . 2 overnight stays in Hotel Sukajadi (type: run of the house) or house of Sangkuriang.

Day 3

Bandung

Today you have a full day tour to Mt. Tangkuban Prahu or ‘Hulk of an overturned boat’, now an active smoldering crater. Enjoy the leisurely walk down the rim of sulfuric area. Nearby is the Ciater hot springs where you can swim in the mineral watere pools, which is said to be good for healing rheumatism and skin problems. After this you will visit the Bambu music (Angklung) village in Padasuka where you will enjoy the performance of Pak Ujo’s bamboo orchestra . This is a fun concert where children and adults make music and perform Sundanese dances.

Day 4

Bandung – Pangandaran.

After breakfast you depart for Pangandaran and stop at Naga village, where you may see a local Javanese community who have retained their traditional customs over the centuries. This village is located in a beautiful mountain area. Then proceed to Pangandaran for your overnight stay in hotel Arnawa (type: executive)

Day 5

Pangandaran – Jogyakarta

This day you depart for Jogyakarta. On the way you visit the Green Canyon, a natural canyon where you can see a river flowing under the rocks. In the afternoon arrive at Yogyakarta for your 2 overnight stays in hotel Indies Heritage (type: deluxe pool view) or Duta Guesthouse.

Day 6

Jogyakarta.

In Yogyakarta you have a full day city tour. You visit the Sultan’s Palace, established in 1755 and the symbol of Javanese culture and traditions. Then proceed to a batik factory and Kota Gede, a small village famous for its silver crafts. Continue to Borobudur temple, the largest Buddhist shrine in Indonesia, built in the 9th century. Afternoon back to hotel.

Day 7

Yogyakarta – Mojokerto by train Sancaka Pagi (06.45 – 10.57) – Bromo

Early in the morning transfer to Yogyakarta train station to catch the train to Mojokerto. After arrival in Mojokerto drive to Bromo in around 3 hours. Overnight stay in Lava View (type: bungalow).

Day 8

Bromo excursion – Surabaya. Very early in the morning you leave for the famous Bromo volcano. On top of the Bromo you will have breathtaking views of the sunrise above the Semeru and Batok volcano. A jacket is suggested since the temperature on top of the volcano can drop to 5 degrees celcius. After having experienced the impressive sunrise and views from mount Bromo, we return to hotel for breakfast and drive to Surabaya. Overnight stay in Hotel Singgasana (type: superior)

Day 9

Surabaya – transfer to the airport. End of our services.
