Mr. Bawo Atozae (30) House destroyed by the earthquake. He lives with about 12 people in a shabby little house in the Jalan Selayang in Medan. We gave for first needs for living 700.000,- rupiah.

Mr. Lici Duha (22 yrs), leg amputated. Donation crutches ad 160.000 rupiah. As soon as his wound is healed we want to bring him to the revalidation center Harapan Jaya.

Mrs. Rosiani Ndaha (65) from Sirombu. Got paralyzed under the debris. We gave her corset and a wheelchair. Total 950.000,- rupiah.

Teja Halawa

Mr. Teja Halawa (58) from Gunung Sitoli did fall with his head in a deep gutter during the earthquake, got unconscious and paralyzed. He was admitted in the Tembakau Deli Hospital. He could not walk and had to be carried. We brought him to an acupuncturist. After a week treatment he now walks a little again. We paid his treatment and gave him a walking-support. Costs walking-support, scan in Materna Hospital + medical costs ad 1.089.800,- rupiah.

Yanti

Mrs. Yanti (29) from Gunung Sitoli lost both her children age 5 and 8 years while their house collapsed. Yanti broke a leg. She is pregnant and therefore cannot been operated upon, although there is danger of infection. Her husband survived. We gave to Yanti 3 million for the child birth and operation of her leg after she has delivered her child. .

Mrs. Go Giok Nio (52). Mother in law from Yanti. She had together with her husband the restaurant Bintang Terang in Gunung Sitoli. She lost her husband while he was trying to rescue his grandchildren from the collapsing house. Her husband and two grandchildren died under the debris. Mrs. Go Giok Nio and Yanti stay with distant relatives under poor conditions in Medan. We gave mrs. Go Giok Nio 2 million rupiah for costs of living.
