Bukit Lawang at the Bohorok river

Above the wild streaming Bohorok river lies the village of Bukit Lawang.
Tracking is possible for a few hours. A trip lasting several days can also be arranged.

Features:

• Visit the orang utan
• Jungle tracking
• Wild water rafting

You can arrange jungle tracks for half an hour, two hours etc., with a local guide.

Alternative place deeper down the jungle:

Tangkahan

 with praws, swimming in the river and elephants

Route description: see
(24 day program),
but can easily be inserted in all other tours;
distance from Medan about 3 hours,
it is possible to return to Medan in the evening of the same day.
